Financial Strength
All opportunities are assessed through detailed, multi-year financial projections. We evaluate expected returns, the capital required, and how the investment fits within our available resources. Financial sustainability and long-term value are key.

Strong Management
We look for capable and experienced management teams. Leaders must have a clear plan, a track record of success, and interests that align with Glooscap Ventures. We believe motivation and integrity are just as important as qualifications.

Control & Influence
Whenever possible, we seek controlling interests in our investments. This allows us to protect the interests of the community, influence key decisions, and ensure operations align with our standards and expectations.

Investment Decision Process

At Glooscap Ventures, we follow a structured and rigorous investment decision-making process to ensure transparency, accountability, and sound judgment at every stage:

Board of Directors

Holds final authority on all investment decisions
Appoints and oversees the Finance, Audit and Risk Committee

Finance, Audit and Risk Committee

Reviews and assesses potential investments
Provides formal recommendations to the Board of Directors
Reviews the Investment Valuation Worksheet for each opportunity
Engages internal staff and external experts to support thorough due diligence

Management & Advisory Team

Leads negotiations and preliminary deal structuring
Conducts detailed due diligence and prepares comprehensive reports
Coordinates external consultants and technical specialists
Evaluates and refines business plans for viability and strategic alignment
Analyzes financial models and tests assumptions
Calculates expected Return on Investment (ROI) and assesses risk-reward profile
